Acceptable Stay with a Few Drawbacks

loud streetlimited space
The street was QUITE noisy because my room faced the main road. This forced a choice between fresh air and peace. I noticed limited communal spaces. I was unsure if there were any areas beyond my room, like a living area, since all doors looked closed. These issues affected my overall experience.

small roomstreet noise
I was quite disappointed with a few things. the room was on the smaller side, not much space to move around. also, the noise from the street was quite noticeable. It made it a bit hard to relax at times. i think some thicker windows would really help with that!

Comfortable Stay With Excellent Amenities

ample spacegreat locationhourly parkingwindow closure
I stayed in a family room with ample space for luggage. Walking downtown was very easy from the location. Parking near the hotel cost only one pound an hour during peak times.
The window closures needed some force to operate properly. This made closing them securely a challenge.

Breakfast included many items, served in a nicely decorated dining room. The choice was big, and all items were fresh. I especially enjoyed the variety. I found seating comfortable, and service quick.

Fantastic Location, Clean Room!

great locationcomfy seatsquick responseshower door
The guest house is very near the front and just a five-minute walk from shops and pubs. We stayed in a family room that included one double bed and a single bed, great! The room was larger than I expected and included plenty of storage drawers. There was also an area available for hanging clothes. I found tea, coffee, and a mini fridge in the room. The TV reception was excellent, and there were two comfy seats, so we could all relax. Toiletries were provided, too. I was happy that the hosts always responded quickly to any questions. The location was great, and the room did everything I needed.
The windows were not fitting properly, and the closures were not working as they should. I needed force to close them even partially. I also had an issue with the shower door. It would not close, so water escaped all over the bathroom floor. I had to mop it up with towels.
Facilities
9/10
There is a parking area available right in front of the building, super convenient. A communal lounge includes a TV and several sofas for relaxation, and there is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
Rooms
8/10
Each room features a television with cable channels, providing entertainment, and the beds are equipped with comfortable mattresses and pillows. Rooms include complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, offering a quick refreshment, and each room has a private bathroom with a shower.
